Guided tour of the naval base* of Brest

The 2nd military port of France was founded on Richelieu's initiative in 1631. Since then, it has continued to develop over the centuries. Exploration of the Laninon port installations and particularly the Quai des Flotilles at which most of the French fleet is moored: minesweepers, frigates, light brigs, etc.

*Tour of a warship, depending on availability. Proof of French identity (current identity card or passport) necessary for every adult participant.

Guided tour of the Maritime Museum

Located in the magnificent setting of the castle of Brest. It houses a very fine collection of model ships, paintings, and sculpture relating to the city's naval tradition. True fortress of Gallo-Roman origin, the castle has several good views of the city.
