The Plougastel peninsula circuit, 45 kilometres

This peninsula, nestling in the natural harbour of Brest and enjoying a good climate, will impress you with the white quartzite rocks lining its shores.

It is internationally renowned for its important calvary, its bridge and the great number of its protected sites.

Its traditional growing of quality strawberries, and today flowers and tomatoes, symbolizes the link between modernity and research, and that of maintaining tradition.

In the town, the light playing on the fine grain of the statues of the great stone calvary of Kersanton and on the water of the "fountain" (spring), will give you the energy to go exploring the paths and wooded embankments.

From the top, you will enjoy panoramic views, like a soaring seagull, to the point of feeling dizzy.

Passing from the sculpted crosses to the shaded chapel common land, you will reach new harbours.
