Brest 2024, the port where all the boats of yesterday, today and tomorrow converge: heritage boats, government ships, scientific vessels, traditional foreign fleets, luxury yachts, ocean-racing boats and more.
For the eighth time, the Fêtes Maritimes de Brest will bring together over a thousand boats from all over the world, bearing witness to the many ways in which mankind has, has and will continue to take to the water. The extraordinary richness of our maritime cultural heritage and know-how will be on display.
Once again, Brest celebrates the sea - humanity's common heritage - as a space for discovery, exploration, freedom and imagination, a link between peoples and their cultures.
Five ports of call
On the quayside, the event will offer five maritime ports of call to discover the culture of sea lands:
The Atlantic stopover
The Pacific stopover
The Polar stopover
The Mediterranean stopover
The English Channel and Celtic Sea stopover.
Voyage, voyages
Themed villages will also enable visitors to discover eight themes related to the world of the seas:
The ocean protection village
The sea rescue village
The children's village
The tourism village
