Astropolis Festival - Electronic music

After last summer's warm and vibrant reunion and a memorable winter interlude, Astropolis returns to celebrate electronic culture in Brest with its annual climax.

Set against the enchanting backdrop of the Bois de Keroual, with its 4 stages overlooking the mythical manor house, Astropolis will take you on a free, daytime tour of the 4 corners of the city, against the backdrop of the blue waters of Brest's harbor and the city's various parks and neighborhoods, Astropolis will once again be the place to be for hedonistic open-air festivities, day and night, at the start of summer, with stops at the emblematic venues of its home port, from the Passerelle contemporary art center to the commercial port club, via the legendary 61-year-old Cabaret Vauban.

A festival in harmony with contemporary environmental and social issues, concerned with issues of sustainable development, parity, and offering collective and inclusive spaces in beautiful organic settings.

It's an event that also aims to be exhaustive in its programming choices, inviting every year pioneers and ambassadors, mixed with young thumbs and adventurous performances, reflecting the richness of electronic cultures and representing a wide range of styles without getting bogged down in the shackles of standardized techno. Artistic choices that have been part of the Astropolis DNA since the very beginning, and which are also deployed through singular universes, amplified by scenographies carefully designed to offer a renewed and immersive experience every year.

It's also the desire to represent the associative fabric of the Greater West of France every year - which represents over 50% of the program - and emerging talent, with numerous carte-blanches to a dozen or so collectives curating the daytime events and a tremplin grand ouest DÔME - now a label & soirées - which selected 22 projects to perform on many of the festival's stages this year.

With decades of longevity behind it, Astropolis is an intergenerational festival that attracts a wide range of audiences every year, making it a unique maelstrom of unifying moments with the air of a great electronic communion.
