An exhibition event in a unique setting
the Banksy Modeste collection
Making art accessible to all
This free exhibition is organized by a collective whose aim is to make art accessible to all. This is not a direct artist-initiated event: the works on display come from a private collection belonging to François Bérardino, alias Béru. He is making them available to the public to help them discover the artist and understand his career and his commitments.
A world-renowned artist
Although his identity is still unknown, Banksy and his works are well known the world over. From shocking to humorous statements, the street artist has made a name for himself, defending deeply human values. Yet he manages to create a buzz with each new piece.
An exhibition of solidarity
This exhibition, hosted by the Ateliers des Capucins in Brest, aims to show solidarity, as in the 6 other towns that have already hosted it. In addition to free admission, the organizers are giving the public the chance to become donors to local associations involved in the field of solidarity. The Brest edition is sponsored by Miossec.
