Why take advantage?

The Cours Dajot is all greenery, a little piece of America, and the best view of the port... Two centuries old, it's an invitation to discover and stroll.

In fact, it's the most highly-rated spot in town.
And rightly so. All you have to do is walk along it, on a clear day if possible, and you'll understand. Starting point: the chĆ¢teau. To the left, a small square where, come rain or shine, bouliste players enjoy their favorite pastime. To the right, a children's playground. All that remains is to walk along the courtyard. Admire the plane trees along the 500-metre promenade. Stopping here and there to enjoy the view. On the seaside, the commercial port, the chĆ¢teau marina and the Narrows.

Here we discover the grand staircase leading to the port, immortalized in Jean Gabin's Remorques. But already, the tower that we've been guessing for many meters is rising: the Pink Tower. Built in 1927 by the Americans "in memory of the great deeds of the American naval forces" during the First World War, then destroyed during the Second, it was finally rebuilt identically in 1958. At the end of the road, an enchanting little square.
