Why take advantage?

Our museum takes you on a journey into the past, where our team of volunteer animators bring back to life the trades and activities of yesteryear through demonstrations that recreate the rural life of our region.

Housed in an old farmhouse, we have a vast exhibition space organized into a number of permanent workshops: the Ty-Coz, where you can discover what life was like around 1900; the bistro-grocery and games; linen, hemp and weaving; embroidery, with an exhibition of costumes; wool, with an exhibition of irons; grain to bread; clog-making; woodturning; wooden spoon-making; forging; rope-making; seafaring and basket-making.
Weekly and/or special activities and one-off events are also presented in our 2,500-square-meter park, with its outdoor bread oven, washhouse, wine press, clogmaker's hut, medicinal garden...

What's more, every afternoon, a special event focuses on local skills that have been saved from oblivion. You'll find the calendar of events on our website. Our animators are eager to share their knowledge with you in a friendly atmosphere.

Allow two hours for the visit.

You can also have a great time at the Breton games park (free admission) located near the Museum!
