The authentic Christmas market is back in town! Mulled wine, hot chocolate, sweets and treats are back, and this is your chance to see the 37 exhibitors in the chalets until December 24!
You'll find handcrafted products, local produce, rides... something for the whole family to enjoy!
New this year, Santa Claus welcomes you to his tree house - a not-to-be-missed event!
A foretaste of Christmas
The city of Brest is offering a number of activities and entertainments to help you get through the festive season.
In the city center, you can opt for a different kind of transport. For several years now, the Hippomobus has been offering horse-drawn carriage rides from the rue Frézier. This year, the rides will take place on December 16, 17 and 23, starting at 2pm.
The various districts of Brest will also be celebrating with workshops, merry-go-rounds, horse-drawn carriages, delicacies, mulled wine... so there's plenty to do before the big festivities!
Stroll from chalet to chalet throughout the Christmas market, then take a ride on the Ferris wheel and finish off with a well-deserved waffle!
Entertainment and shows
The Christmas season brings entertainment and shows to delight all your senses!
Between workshops, Christmas concerts and choirs, the whole family can come together for a moment to immerse themselves in the world of the festive season. Don't miss the various strolls, this year featuring marvelous creatures and dragons between Rue de Siam, Rue Jean Jaurès and the Christmas market.

The magic of lights
A sparkling event at the end of the year, this year's illuminations are more respectful of the environment. The city of Brest has decided to reduce its energy consumption, so the illuminations will end at 10pm and return in the morning from 6:30am until daybreak.
But don't worry, the magic of Christmas is still with us!
Did you know?
The 550 fir trees in the city this year will be recycled by being shredded, then used as mulch for the city's shrub beds!
