Brest's legendary concert venue, once a ballroom, Le Cabaret Vauban is located in the heart of the city, in the basement of the Hôtel Vauban, which has been owned by the same family for over a century.

With around a hundred events a year, the venue offers an eclectic program, from French chanson to electro evenings and major international rock bands.

In this intimate, convivial venue, it's not unusual to come across the artist leaning against the bar after the concert.

La Carène

More than just one, or even two concert halls, La Carène, created in 2007 on Brest's Port de Commerce, is a veritable complex dedicated to contemporary music, regularly hosting artists in residence in its 6 recording studios.

During the music season, almost 90 concerts are held here. Rock, world music, metal, punk, electro and children's shows: the varied program aims to make musical culture accessible to all audiences.
