L'Atelier Papier

L'Atelier Papier is an exhibition space for contemporary artistic creation, open all year round and free of charge.
Are you a decorating or design enthusiast? Looking for an original gift? Our favorites include: small notebooks with unique marbled covers, photographs, vintage Japanese prints, botanical engravings, original etchings, hand-bound and hand-illustrated poetry editions, numbered magazines... and papers created in the workshop for bookbinding, paintings, lampshades... From 8 euros
It's also a workshop for practical paper art. Pascale Zawadzki offers classes lasting from 1h30 to 2 hours "à la carte", at a cost of €28 per participant, as well as workshops to discover artistic skills or perfect them. Each participant creates an object (print, notebook, marbled paper, paper creation, etc.) during the session.

L'Atelier Papier is also a heritage site in the St Martin district. Take the streetcar up Rue Jean Jaurès to the St Martin stop. The studio is just a few steps from the church, and you're invited to meet Pascale. She'll tell you the story of her workshop. The thick granite walls bear witness to the farm buildings of the village of Bel air, then the Galeries St Martin and famous restaurants... Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to discover the hidden, metal-glass roofing characteristic of the neighborhood's Haussmannian era?
